Abraham Lincoln prophetically said, “If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen we must live through all time or die by suicide.” A very good argument can be made that we have long crossed the Rubicon many years past on this measure. But these past week’s actions by the United States government and the naked acquiescence of it’s actions by the populace may be the final conclusive evidence that we as a nation have been willing, though maybe ignorantly so, instruments on our own economic and social demise, via the policies of the U.S government under the guise of combating SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, commonly known as CoronaVirus.
One thing that has never sat well with me nor made any sense as I was growing up was regarding the relationship between the Democrat Party and the black-American Community. How can it be that the political party that is said to have freed Blacks in America from bondage and slavery, and protected it from segregationist policies, the Republican Party, to now be the Party that is hated and denounced by the black-American community today?
Don’t look now, but the latest version of “the People’s President”, Donald J. Trump, maybe the last great United States’ president. Not since Ronald Reagan has a president with no Ivy League education, who was loved by the voters and intensely loathed by the Elites, both in the Democrat and in his own Republican Party, and the National News Media Complex
The very notion of the socialist construct of “equality” has the black American community, who has approximately $2 Trillion of post-tax dollars going through it’s community annually, actually believing that it needs government handouts and social-engineered welfare and equality programs to exists and succeed.
When was the last time that you can remember a Presidential candidate running on shinning a light on the pressing a social or cultural issue such as the restoration of Biblical principles amongst the youth and the public schools since him? Or the absence of morality in the culture? Or just the reverence for American capitalism versus Socialism/Communism?.
