If There Was Ever A Coupe Of The U.S Government Would The American People Know?

A couple of years ago I wrote an article asking the question if the U.S government had been taken over due to its apparent extreme aversion to acting upon the will of the people? In it I refereed to an August ’07 issue of the Financial Times report on David Walker’s, the comptroller general of the US General Accounting Office, warning us that the US government is on a “burning platform” of unsustainable policies and practices with fiscal deficits, chronic healthcare underfunding, and immigration… threatening a crisis if action is not taken soon. Well after nearly 7 years past and being witness to yet another orchestrated performance by the U.S government to confuse, distract, and disorient the American people to further expand its power while still doing absolutely nothing about the burning platform that more threatens to engulf our nation.

obama smugBut just as with the magician on stage, it matters less what is being focused on under the lights, but what is going on just out of focus and in the shadows. After about two weeks of a government supposed shutdown over the Administration’s unwillingness to delay the mandate for every U.S citizen to get sign up for Obamacare, just as it has done for businesses, and creating some way to reduce the government’s debt before agreeing to increase its debt ceiling. But after all was said done the issue on Obamacare became a non-issue and the debt limits got increased without any restraints. In fact, the government spent more money on more pork projects and back paying federal employees the money that they didn’t receive during the shut down that actually only effected less than a quarter of the federal government. So even the most passive observer must ask the question what was it truly all for?

As the main political players-the Progressives in the Republican and Democratic parties, particularly Mr. Obama, and the Establishment Media-attempted to focus us on just the volleys of how to not to do what is truly right for the American people, Mr. O quietly moved forward to fundamentally transforming this nation, while in the light he tells us that he’s working his hardest to do the exact opposite.

Recent Pew Research and Rasmussen Poll tells us aloud what many of us feel instinctively, that we do not trust the government and the future of our once great republic is going down a dark rabbit hole. Yet at the same time we like the individuals in government, i.e. Mr. O is still liked on a personality basis, we just don’t like where he’s taking the nation. It’s like we are all on a boat heading over Niagara Falls that’s being driven and managed by people who we don’t trust nor believe to be competent. While the majority of us appear to be grossly distracted by the hypnotic tunes of the band and the visual imagery, leaving the minority who are alert and conscious wondering why is this all happening when we all see the cliff quickly coming before us?

We all know that this is not the America that we imagined it would become. Intuitively we know that there is something very wrong with this picture. Yet, here we are. And curiously, none of the political creatures of the federal government seem to truly want to do anything to correct the dire situation that faces the America. But while the circus seemed to have everyone’s attention who were fixated to the printed and TV Media programing during the “debt crisis”, somethings where interestingly not focused on, but maybe more interesting particularly to those of us who are more intellectually politically initiated such as:

And what may be more telling of Mr. O’s focus, his first stated goal following the “crisis” is not rebuilding the nation’s economic standing, not to increase the nation’s standard of living, nor reestablishing the lost of faith in the federal government by the American people by establishing a more stern code of ethics, but to get more illegal-immigrants into the country.

But hey, we are in football season and soon it will be the holidays. As the U.S government further enacts it’s modern day version of Ancient Rome’s “Bread and Circus” the America that we all hoped for ourselves and our children of freedom and prosperity becomes more at peril. Don’t mind the smoke! Pass the popcorn.

The Sexual-Orientation & Illegal-Immigration Movement Are the Greatest Moral Issues in America in Generations: They will forever define this nation’s moral identity.

Here we go again. We are purposely being distracted from real issues that can actually bring this nation out of the worst economic downturn since the ’29 Depression to expend energies on an issue that wasn’t on anyone’s map before the Media and the Administration put it there. Kinda like the healthcare “crisis” that made it crucial for the government to ram Obama-care down our throats; or the financial “crisis” that made it crucial that the government pass the Dodd-Frank financial over haul with scant public exposure.

Now Mexico being located to the south of us and like-gender individual’s relationships have now been thrust up the sleeping American people for yet another “crisis” that the United States government has to solve. But unlike Obama-care and Dodd-Frank that will have negative economic reverberations for generations to come, the issues regarding the illegal-immigration, of Mexicans in particularly, and same-sex marriage is a seismic social earthquake of mega-tone proportions that will forever change the nation’s moral landscape.

The government directly creating a crisis and or creating the environment for a crisis for it to inevitably offer the solution to move the American people into a direction that benefits its longing for power and control is nothing new. A very good argument can be made that the move of many Black Americans from free man to slave was for the political benefit of the government, specifically the Democrat Party, in concert with big business and the Church. The solution of the government was then to prescribe a new political status and classification, Civil Rights and the U.S Citizen. And we all know how unified we are due to that. Don’t we?

Maybe its only fitting that we as a nation find ourselves again struggling with the government attempting to provide another solution dealing with governmental status and classification, whether someone is to be identified as being legally illegible to receive government privileges and how much the government can benefit from such illegibility. Don’t fool yourself folks the government increasing its tax base and expanding its power and control over its Citizens is what this is really all about. .

Several liberal Media pundits have already spilled the beans about how the government would financially benefit by reclassifying marriage to include same-sex persons. What many of us may not be aware of is the fact that gays and lesbians generally earn more money than Hetero-Sexuals. Also, it has been reported that reforming the immigration system would actually cost the Social Security Administration Billions due to the fact as things stand now though millions of illegal-immigrants pay into Social Security, the Administration doesn’t have to pay out to them. Wonder why we don’t see millions of illegal-immigrants demanding to be U.S Citizens or millions of gays and lesbians demanding to be regulated by the government like their hetero-sexual counterparts marching across the nation? Its simply because this is a government initiated cause. And when the people most of the several states have voted they have fervently voted against illegal-immigration and the redefining of marriage to include same-sex persons.

There are two facts that are indisputable regarding these two issues legally according to the government’s own law, and they are in Black’s Law Dictionary 2ndEd. marriage is defined, “as distinguished from the agreement to marry and from the act of becoming married, Is the civil status of one man and one woman united in law for life, for the discharge to each other and the community of the duties legally incumbent on those whose associationis founded on the distinction of sex.” And according to theFederal Immigration and Nationality Act Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii), “Any person who . . . encourages or induces an alien to . . . reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . .. fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.” If these are laws and precedents that have lasted for as long as this nation has been in existence, and now all of the sudden the government itself is seeking to subjugate them, rather than have an open and honest discussion about them with us the people to possibly have the laws changed or amended, one has to ask, what is really going on? The government chooses to engage in dishonest, divisive, and manipulative propaganda.The government chooses to not reduce the red tape, onerous regulations, and massive bureaucracy that causes the horrific backlog that keeps so many wanting and qualified immigrants from LEGALLY coming to and staying in America, and not to rightly enforce its current immigration laws. And it chooses to not simply leave marriage defined as what it has always been in this country and dating as far back as Ancient Rome – a union between a man and a woman to promote procreation and a stable society – and create another political status, Civil Union, with its own governance and qualifications. It chooses to seek to have intellectually vacant arguments and attempts to redefine terms and words such as, what is is. What is a man? What is legal? And what is marriage? Despite the government’s propaganda, this issue is not about “equality”, but political status and classification for both the financial and political benefit of the government. As Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas truthfully stated, “Government cannot make us equal; it can only recognize, respect, and protect us as equal before the law.”

It is interesting that the one political party that has been the instigator in America’s most divisive social movements has been the Democratic Party. And like in the past, a combination of politics, big business, and the church, are instigative parties in these movements.  I’m not saying. I’m just saying.

The great hazard of frivolously and loosely choosing to redefining words and customs that have stood for generations and centuries with little regard of the consequences to the society as a whole is to question is anything sacred? Are there any longer any absolutes? Can we any longer definitively claim what is acceptable and not acceptable? How do we stand up and say no if no is no longer clearly definable? How can we then say this is right and this is wrong or that this is good and this bad? And is is is?

Alexis de Tocqueville once prophetically stated, “America is great because America is good. If America ever ceases to be good it will cease to be great.” This is what this battle is about. America’s moral soul. And how our next generations will view issues of morality. In truth, there is little light between what effects social issues and what effects economic issues. They are both of the same stick. It is only our fundamentally sound moral compass that keeps us from one day awakening to a nation engulfed in flames. It is ultimately up to us to chose.

 

 

The American People Are Being Served As Dinner By Both Parties Of The United States Government, Again!

Tell me if you have heard this one before. Two hunters invite a duck over for dinner.  The duck puts on his Sunday’s best for the occasion, for he feels honored that so much fuss is being made for his benefit.  Upon entering the home he notices that the stove has boiling pots of water on it and the oven is on when the two hunters comes to him with napkins around their necks and each with a knife and fork in hand. They ask the duck, guess what’s for dinner?

Today it is the American people who are playing the part of the duck, and the two main political parties are playing the part of the hunters in this so-call “Fiscal Cliff” production that is being preformed in the nation’s federal seat.  Both parties are doing an orchestrated rhino dance with no real intention to do what really needs to be done to strengthen America’s financial position and thus not cause each other any real injuries to their ultimate goal.

First let’s not be so distracted that we lose site of how we got to this “cliff” in the first place.  Two years ago the two parties supposedly at the very last minute saved the nation from imminent financial doom by coming to an agreement to increase the federal government’s borrowing limits; so it could go into more debt, just slower.  The main stipulation for the agreement was that both parties had to find a way to cut spending. But, if the two parties could not reach agreement on cuts then they agreed that cuts would be imposed automatically at end of 2012 on both party’s sacred calves, for the Republicans it was defense, and for the Democrats it was domestic spending.  The division came to $109.3 billion per year.  Basically, the “national defense” and all non-defense program cuts would come to just $54.7 billion per year for only 9 years, to total just a little over $1 trillion in debt reduction. That was the agreed upon deal by the best minds and negotiators from both parties. Right?

Now most interestingly, in order to work out a compromise neither party picked any moderates nor anyone who could pass as a fiscal hawk; someone who had a reputation of wanting to reduce government spending.  And they met primarily in secret, behind close doors.  So, surprise!  No compromise.

So here we again.  We have the same players doing a strangely similar dance only to a different track beat.  The nation faces another imminent financial catastrophe that only Democrat and Republican leaders coming together in Washington can save the nation from.   But yet again there’s no real talk of getting America truly financially solvent.  There is no talk about truly cutting spending or even getting close to a balance budget.  Here are some interesting points to keep in mind:  Just in Mr. Obama’s first term he has piled over $5 Trillion to the government’s debt, more than all of the previous Presidents COMBINED!  Yet, he has only talked about reducing the debt by $4 trillion of 10 years; Mr. O seems to be fixated on taxing the “rich”.  But, according to a recent Forbes article, the federal gov’t would have to collect at least $8 trillion in taxes per year just to not go further in the hole – which is more than the average yearly accrued liabilities of just the two largest entitlement programs-Social Security and Medicare.  But if you take the total adjusted gross income of every taxpayer earning even more than $66,000 a year it would only come to just $5.1 trillion. And the income from those “evil” corporations is only $1.6 trillion.  If the government was to take all of this, it still wouldn’t be enough to even pay the annual increases. And keep in mind that the gov’t can only take this money once.  Once it’s gone, it’s gone. And as for the Republicans, the party who’s supposed to champion smaller government and limited spending, their leaders seem to be unable, or unwilling, to vociferously make the case that the government is financially insolvent and the monstrous debt that it is piling up will be bared by future generations by dramatically lower standard of living and diminished world economic standing.

What hasn’t been explained to the American people is what exactly the so-called Fiscal Cliff is.  It is made up of three main components, the agreed upon resolution in the Budget Control Act of 2011 of across-the-board spending cuts –sequestration; the expiration of the Bush tax cuts, which would bring taxes back to pre-tax cut rates, thus causing the highest tax increase in U.S history; and also the New taxes to be imposed by the Affordable Care Act, i.e., Obamacare, that brings $500 billion to $1 trillion-plus in tax hikes over the next 10 years starting in January.  Interestingly, very little, if anything is being mentioned of the taxes of Obamacare that are to negatively affect every U.S taxpayer and American, thus further stymie an already depressed economy. Every thing is being focused by the Establishment Media on the totally reneging on the 2011 agreement, which was to cut cost and reduce the government’s crushing debt, and the extension of the Bush tax cuts for all but the high producers and tax-brackets – none of which would lower the government’s debt, reduce government spending, or spurs the nation’s economic growth.  In fact these issues aren’t even mention honestly in the debate from either side.  And Mr. O even admitted during an interview with ABC News reporter Charles Gibson that raising taxes on the rich has nothing to do with better economics or the betterment of the nation fiscal position, but “fairness”.  Fact is that the federal government does not have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem.  It is spending more than $1 trillion more than what it brings in annually.

What the government is engaged in is a masterful production of double-speak and verbal word contortion to deliberately disguise, distort, or reverse the meaning of words and its true intent and motives.  Lumping all of the three main issues into one presentation to the people of American in a highly-charged emotional crisis is to further govern by fear and crisis.  Jefferson prophetically said that “Fear can only prevail when victims are ignorant of the facts.” And John Adams said of government, “fear is the foundation of most governments.”  Since September 11, 2001 a very good argument can be made that the government of the United States has governed the American people not with optimistic aspirations to lead towards America’s freedom and prosperity, but it has chosen to lead with perpetual states of crisis and fear to lead the nation towards governmental dependency and economic impoverishment.   We get so caught up in what is being said by political leaders, and not enough on what is not being said.

The Party leaders are fighting not to free the people of America from its treacherous economic mis-management, but seemingly fighting to leave its taxpayers and America unknowingly liable and holding the bag and saddling America’s posterity with unsustainable financial debt and second-class world citizenship.  It is evident by their actions.  They should be fighting for the common ground of what will make the nation prosperous.  They should be discussing ways to make the Bush tax cuts permanent, putting more money in the people’s pockets, while reducing it’s spending till it is more in line to it’s revenues, and reducing any and all economically repugnant portions of any legislation, including Obamacare.  Why aren’t the parties discussing anything along these lines?  Why is Mr. Obama stubbornly pushing an ideology and policy that he himself has stated will not lead the nation to economic prosperity nor lower the debt of the government? And why is the Establishment Media not seeking to educate or truly inform the American people of the intent and motivations of the government and its policies and possible effects they may have on us and the nation?  Let the truth be known, though troubling to believe, they are performing their roles purposely to perfection.  The question we should be asking is why?

There is no truth more self-evident that giving free-minded people truth and knowledge they will not have anything to fear and they will chose what is best.  The crime is that we the people are not giving that opportunity.  But, at the end of the day it is up to each free-minded person to take the responsibility to be educated on the motives and actions of those we place in governance, to hold them accountable for what they do and do not do.  Or alas it will be the carcass of the American people that future historians will discover on the doused embers of this great nation.

O’s Rock Star Production Is Fading Under The Serious Lights of This Campaign

The most recent Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows Mitt Romney at 49% of voters nationwide and President Obama is at 47%.  My question is what are these 47% liking in O that he has earned or deserves another 4-year term to sit in the chair of the President of the United States that the rest of us are oblivious to?  Sir Winston Churchill said once that, “The best argument against Democracy is a 5 minute conversation with an average voter.”  He may have well been speaking of today’s political climate.

It is my sincerest belief that the election of Mr. Obama was not an election of a president or a leader by the citizens of United States, but a very attractive and articulate celebrity, a rock star; who also happened to have been also Black.  I can’t recall a time when I have seen the President’s face on so many entertainment magazines, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and entertainment shows, such as the Daily Show and the View. All this while the nation, and the world, is in crisis.

Barack Obama, got elected four years ago to be the president of the United States, after not even completing his first term in the Senate and without many voters knowing hardly anything about him personally, philosophically, or politically. They knew he was a democrat; he looked good on camera, intelligent, and spoke well – especially with a teleprompter.  The voters of the United States wanted to give “him a chance”- the first true African-American, as though he was applying for managerial position at a Denny’s Restaurant.  But since getting into office he seems to be unable or unwilling, to tell the truth or be straight with the American people.  He came into office with a cloudy past that includes serious communist  and  radical liberal affiliations.  He promised that if the “Stimulus Bill” was passed unemployment would not raise pass 8% and would create over 3 million jobs.  Since the bill’s passage unemployment has hit a 25 year record high, negative job creation every year, and if the underemployed and those wanting full time work but having to settle for p/t work were counted, the rate today would be an astonishing 14.5%.  He rammed through Obamacare without any bi-partisan input promising that it would improve and lower the cost of healthcare without raising taxes on anyone earning below $250k yearly income.  But according to the Americans for Tax Reform, Obamacare will clobber every U.S taxpayer and business owner with taxes and regulations that this nation has never imagined. According to the Heritage Foundation Obamacare will end up costing millions of jobs and cripple the nation’s employment environment. Also, according to U.S Daily Review the law will not improve healthcare at all, but drastically reduce quality and access.

Mr. Obama is up to his crown in concealing and lying blatantly to the American people about Fast and Furious, that involved covertly flooding gangs in Mexico with American guns that have killed untold numbers of Mexicans and at least one U.S Border Agent.  He has also played a significant role in the sacking of the strongest and largest American friendly Arab state, Egypt, and an Arab nation that was no direct threat to America, Libya.  Both interestingly kept a lid on the extremely radical Islamic group the Muslim Brotherhood.  But more recently with another “spontaneous uprising” in two Muslim Brotherhood-led countries of Libya and Egypt due to obscure YouTube Video defaming the Prophet Muhammad that caused the slaying of the U.S Ambassador to Libya and three Marines on September 11th.  But rather than admit that the attack in Libya and on the Ambassador was a planned military attack by Al-queda he has set to conceal the truth of what actually happened, how it happened, why it happened, and blame America for our freedom of speech that allowed this obscure video to be made.

So who are these 47% of the U.S populace who still favor a man with such a track record who now wants to have another 1,460 days to “fundamentally change” America even more?  Governor Romney may have had it right when he stated in September that, “there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That, that’s an entitlement.” And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what.” Obama seemingly panders to the lowest intellectually politically initiated in the nation and dreams of a nation of dependency, both domestically and internationally.  And it is only with the blessings of the Establishment Media, with his expansive rock star production, coupled with this nation’s extreme culture of celebrity worship does his blatant verbal manipulation and deception goes mostly unabated.

But in a Democracy it is only as sturdy as the political aptitude of the least of our fellow citizen.  Unfortunately these seem to be Mr. Obama’s targeted group for supporter. Thomas Jefferson may have stated the answer to what ills the nation today when he said, “Educate and inform the whole mass of the people… They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.” It does appear that many of the rest of the nation are truly beginning to listen with our ears and see with our eyes.  We are beginning to hear that he says nothing, that only his lips are moving as someone else tugs at the strings, and that he is standing naked before us. We are becoming initiated to become more responsible for ourselves and wanting a better nation for our posterity.  May the hands of Providence gently lie upon us all.
