As Benjamin Franklin exited Independence Hall in Philadelphia in 1787, after he and a small group of extraordinary brave men consummated the greatest act of treason against the world’s greatest military superpower, Briton, he was asked “What have we got? A republic or a monarchy?” He responded, “A Republic IF you can keep it.”  It was the dawn of the greatest experiment of mankind.  Can Man govern themselves with little government interference?  For me, the question should be is Man WILLING to govern themselves?  I believe that the most passive observer can say that after some two hundred and thirty plus years, the answer is sadly NO!

Reagan’s Prophecy

In 1964 Ronald Reagan prophetically stated at the Republican National Convention, “Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction”Apparently, he was whistling past the proverbial graveyard.   Seemingly not enough people thought that he knew what he was talking about. We have arrived at where this year, unlike any other, there will be few, if any, public exhibitions celebrating our nation’s independence and freedom in the country, due to a health scare of a virus that has a less than 6% death rate.  The emotion of fear is being injected into the society like heroin to the point that news of increased numbers of simple COVID-19 infections matters more than the fact there is more testing, our bodies are constantly battling viruses, and that the hospitalization rate due to COVID-19 has been going down since March according to the CDC. This year the federal government and local and State governments have forced the shutdown of lawful businesses and put unprecedented restrictions on the movement of the citizenry without clearly defining by what Constitutional authority they were retrieving these powers.  But what many freedom lovers maybe even more disturbed by is the lack of questioning the Constitutionality by the American people and the passive acceptance by many of the people to the authority of the government to demand such obedience in a climate of extreme contrived fear.

In the severe absence of the American citizenry’s knowledge of limited government and that the first ten Amendments to the United States Constitution deliberately and pointedly spells out the limits on the government, not the people.  And similar restrictions can be found in the Constitutions of the 50 States.  The recent seemingly unimpuned actions by the federal, State, and local governments this year has led to over 100,000 small businesses closing forever.  Over 40 MILLION Americans have become unemployed.  The privately-owned Federal Reserve Bank has quietly jumped in to buy up unlimited U.S government debt and buy over $10 TRILLION of U.S corporate debt and has bought the debt of 86 of the U.S biggest companies. Does any of this look like a move to greater freedom and independence for this nation or it’s people?

The Seeds of Generations of Mis-Educated Americans

The effort to move America’s educational system away from actually educating the youth based on the tenets of America’s founding principles of Judeo-Christianity and the Constitution has been done quietly, purposefully, and deliberately since more pointedly the nineteen sixties’ and seventies with the banishment of the Bible from government schools followed by the formation of the Federal Department of Education.  There is no argument that the Founders believed strongly that the survivability and prosperity of the nation were tied to the knowledge and reverence of the Bible. Founder Benjamin Rush stated, “Contemplating merely the political institutions of the United States, I lament that we waste so much time and money in punishing crimes and take so little pains to prevent them. We profess to be republicans, and yet we neglect the only means of establishing and perpetuating our republican forms of government; that is, the universal education of our youth in the principles of Christianity by means of the Bible; for this divine book, above all others, favors that equality among mankind, that respect for just laws, and all those sober and frugal virtues which constitute the soul of republicanism.

By removing the Bible from schools we would be wasting so much time and money in punishing criminals and so little pains to prevent crime. Take the Bible out of our schools and there would be an explosion in crime.”

One cannot honestly look a the period when the Bible was removed from the education system in 1962 and the social descent since and not see a correlation.  If you are honest.

The “Baby Boomers” and the adults of the 1960s to today have allowed the nation’s educational system to first be removed from local control to being controlled by D.C and then allowed the system of education to be turned into that of indoctrination. Being taught how to think critically and freely has been flipped to the nation’s youth being taught how to follow orders and look for answers that have already been given and to first check the direction of consensus opinion before deciding what their opinion or direction will be, i.e., groupthink.

“Social Justice”, “Political Correctness”, and the rush to “not offend” anyone is allowed to go largely undefined and unchallenged, but basically accepted in today’s American youth and young.  While the question of what is truly right and wrong and true goes ignored for being too complex and ununderstandable.  American youths, mostly Caucasian, charged to the hilt with emotion, will flood the streets demanding Black redress for the Black Slave Era and Blacks mistreatment by police.  But when asked to answer 2 questions: Do the Caucasians who were slaves get redress too? and What do you do about the disproportionate degree of crimes that Blacks commit that cause them to be placed on the wrong side of a police/citizen encounter?  Silence!  Truth and morality have been made matters of relevancy. Stupid and intellectual ignorance is the new cool in todays society, particularly amongst the youth that such behavior and mentality have been developed in them via the educational system and pop Media.

The Feminine Ego and Marxism Rules

The removal of the Judeo-Christian tenants and principles have had many cultural consequences that have crippled this nation.  Not the least of which has been the minimalization and marginalization of the male’s role and the Masculine Ego as it relates to family and his place next to the woman.  And then there’s nothing mentioned of what would take the place of Christendom that would do a better job keeping our society sane, civil, together, and prosperous.  All notions of patriarchy have to be abolished for that of matriarchy. The removal of the Male is paramount, with his innate mentality to be more assertive and rigidly self-determined, even at the risk of being wrong, and will seek to defend and protect himself and what is his first, and favors personal security above all else is critical.  To replace that dominant energy with that of the Female, with her innate mentality to be more nurturing, more emotionally attuned, be more passive and willing to compromise just to keep the peace, and more willing to give up their freedoms and liberties for the benefit of others, is key to the destruction of the traditional American society.  It is not allowed to see these differences as complementary, each serving each other, as the Bible intended. The relationship had to turn adversarial and a push for the Marxist construct of “equality”. There is no such thing as literal equality in the natural realm.  Even identical twins have differences.

In a culture that is driven by the Feminine Ego is one where you will find that the government is the sovereign authority and rights and liberties are often exchanged for promised security and collective harmony – Can’t we all just get along?.  In Communist/Marxist and Socialist societies the physical man is God. Secularism and Atheism rules. Homosexuality, transgenderism, the masculinization of the female and the feminization of the male are all raised to the level of normalcy, acceptance, legitimacy, if not superior to traditional values and norms. Which all of this goes in strict opposition to the American Republican/Capitalist society that is based on small government, in which the people are the sovereign, and the individual rigidly self-determined and independent-mindedness is celebrated. And in which God is the fundamental element that guides us as a nation.

In a Feminine Ego driven society there is little to no room for individualism, individual liberty nor freedoms. It is all about the collective. No individual thought, definitely no teachings of gender roles that speaks of the woman being the “helper” to the Man that together could produce a strong family unit and society that could rise to challenge the sovereign power of the government.

Has Dusk Come?

So today, on the eve of the day of the once-great nation’s independence, we have the government imposing its will over the people who created it.  The government is shutting down and crippling the nation’s economy irrevocably supposedly due to a minor virus and gets away with saying that the safety and security of the collective trumps that of the right of the individual.  Subsequently, as the economy declines due to the government’s actions to restrict the freedoms and liberties of the individual and the mighty energy that is created by a free people and that has dominated all other nations since America’s creation, there’s the stifling air of appeasement and capitulation growing. The popularity of the nanny state becomes more enticing and alluring to more citizens like a cyst that grows and grows until there is no longer any room for freedom in the body that once gave it life.

The Constitution still lives for those in this country who wishes to attach themselves to it.  Divine Providence is still a manageable course for those who don’t mind the challenges that may be put before them.  Freedom is still available for those who can relish its weight and burden.  Americans still have an opportunity, though diminishing ever so quickly, to choose whether to grasp with both hands the ideals of God-given unalienable rights and limited government or we can soon wake up in an America that has no open display of Christianity, harsh and direct speech and thought is outlawed, the American flag and the celebration of Americanism is deemed offensive, and that we reminisce when in this country men were free.
