The question was once posed asking, Are you going to believe what I tell you or your lying eyes? It does not matter if you’re talking about millions of Americans witnessing a beloved U.S President being brutally gunned down in Dealey Plaza and seeing his body and head being thrust forwards and backward and a portion of his skull being blown backward to land on the street behind him. Many of us can be convinced that a single gunman shooting from the rear caused all of that.
Even though many of us have seen large buildings or sports stadiums demolished by strategically placed explosives, but yet after witnessing two hurricane-proof skyscrapers fall straight down, in the exact manner as those demolished sports stadiums, many of us can be convinced that a jet airliner caused it as its fuel leaked from the top floors of the structure.
Or last year, in the most voted on Presidential election in recent generations, the incumbent who brought the nation record low unemployment, record-high wages and take-home pay, national energy independence, and carried the two most prominent bell-weather States [Florida and Ohio], that in all but in the Kennedy-Nixon race determined the winner. And with hundreds of private citizens signing an affidavit, under penalty of perjury, i.e., federal prison, swearing that they personally witness some ballot chicanery in four pivotal voting Democrat-run jurisdictions, he ends up losing to his opponent who promised the very opposite of policies. Many of us can be convinced that there’s nothing to see here.
On average over 600,000 Americans die due to heart disease every year without any overt national notice or reporting. But since March of last year, when then-President Trump declared a National State of Emergency due to a new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, a.k.a COVID-19, it is reported that to date 454,213 Americans have died due to COVID-19. In fact, to date, only one State has more than 42,000 deaths that have been attributed to COVID-19 – New York has 43,879. The State of Vermont has recorded just 175 COVID-19 credited deaths. And while it is known that the virus threatens mostly those over 60 yrs old and though it has a high infection rate, less than 5% of those who get it dies from it alone. Many of us have been convinced that it is acceptable to close schools for children, force healthy adults to lose jobs and livelihoods, throw a national election into chaos, not socialize, wear one or multiple masks outside and alone in cars, and have government restrict our freedoms for the good of the community. It is now nearing March again and the federal government, some States, 98% are Democrat, is still acting as though this virus is tantamount to the Black Plague and is willing to place trillions of dollars of debt on the nation’s posterity in its name.
How can millions of us act or behave in a manner totally opposite to what we intuitively know to be true and reject what our eyes see? I can say that it is due to the fact the U.S government education system has long stopped teaching how to critically think. But that would be only half of the answer, at the most. In order for such a feat to be accomplished, for fact to become irrelevant, Truth would have to be made an orphan or suffocated in its crib. And this can only be done by the manipulation of the news and information that we receive through the National Media Complex.
1800’s novelist, author, poet Isa Blagden, said, “If a lie is only printed often enough, it becomes a quasi-truth, and if such a truth is repeated often enough, it becomes an article of belief, a dogma, and men will die for it.” One of the most consistent thread that runs through these pivotally historic events is the Media’s relentless bombardment of its version of the event and its complete contempt and disinterest for any opposing or challenging viewpoint. Thus, leaving many of us who only get our information from these sources left with only its version of the truth. And after constantly being told this version, seeing this version played out, it becomes accepted as the true version of record. Sheerly due to the number of people and sources that appear to support this version is it accepted as value.
We have all been told adnauseam that Lee Harvey Oswald was the single shooter who alone knew of the President’s route and was able to calculate the perfect time to shoot and kill the President of the United States from a window. News reports have repeatedly told us this version. The Warren Commission of Congress cosigns this version. It’s in our textbooks. It must be the truth, right? But few of us have heard of the 1976 House Select Committee on Assassinations in which it found a “probable conspiracy” in the JFK assassination. It concluded that an alternative version was possible.
The same scenario is played out by the Media again surrounding the collapse of the New York World Trade Towers on September 11, 2001. The airways and lines of the public’s main sources of information where flooded with one and only one version of the story, despite what many of us heard and saw live, that these marvels of construction technology collapsed straight down due to an airliner crashing into them at the top. But, how many of us have heard of the University of Alaska’s engineering department had concluded that “fire did not cause the collapse of WTC 7 on 9/11”?
And it is even more curious that the same playbook is being used on us today dealing with the COVID-19 virus. Only one version of the facts or truth is being allowed to live. The government must shut down the economies of cities and States, force healthy children and adults to stay in their homes away from their jobs, businesses, and schools, as though the virus is going to fade away like rain mist so long as we avoid it. There is no other solution nor remedy. This is the first time mankind has ever been confronted with a virus. Right? Never, never ever, never, ever, never ever has shutting down whole economies been tried at this level for this extended period of time. But, how many of you know of the September 2020 CDC report stating that, “for 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned?” Six percent?. I have not heard the CDC say that has changed or that announcement was wrong. Have you?
I am not saying that my point of view is correct. My question is, why aren’t more of us questioning such pivotal and important events when only one point of view or solution is offered that goes counter to what we intuitively know to be true? Whether it is offered by a family member, our neighbor, or particularly if it is offered by the government, we should simply question until every possible alternative outcome or solution has been extinguished. Is there ever just one possible solution to an issue or point of view?
The unchained power of the National Media Complex [television, internet, radio, and print] has been revealed as an extraordinary force that has the ability to dispatch propaganda to mold the behavior and the opinion of the masses. It’s power has been turned not for the benefit and favor of the American people, as the Founders intended, but instead, it has turned against us. Of course, it could not do this without the complicity of the federal government.
“Propaganda must not investigate the truth objectively and, in so far as it is favorable to the other side, present it according to the theoretical “ of justice; yet it must present only that aspect of the truth which is favorable to its own side…The receptive powers of the masses are very restricted, and their understanding is feeble…” “The great majority of a nation is so feminine in its character and outlook that its thought and conduct are ruled by sentiment rather than by sober reasoning.” [ Mein Kampf] It all starts with the willingness of the people to accept being used as myrmidons to our own fate or boldly question what is going on in our communities, in our governments, and in our homes. We as free-minded people should all strongly seek to open our eyes widely and grab tightly for Truth with both hands or become comfortable with chains of servitude.
